Now you can’t go to any blog and leave a comment like “thanks” or “great post” and then put your backlink . This is just a kind of spamming. I personally don’t like it. You have to read the post and then comment on a special line or point.  That will show that you have read the topics and really want to know. Keep some points in your mind while commenting in other blogs.

Have a keyword list for your website. This is a list of all the keywords you want your web pages to rank for. It is preferred that you print it out so you can easily mark the ones you have already done while you are posting comments. This way you won’t have to keep switching windows, as is the case if your keyword list is on an excel sheet or MS Word tables.

Find blogs that are relevant to your keyword by typing this search string on Google. inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” keyword” and simply changekeyword with the keyword you are building backlinks for from your keyword list on step one. This step brings up blogs that you can post comments on that are also related to your topic.

Look for websites that has a comment box complete with name and URL. If it doesn’t have those two, then don’t bother and go back to your search page.

Put your keyword on the name column this way “the keyword master” or any variation that makes sense. The important thing is that the keyword should be in your name as it becomes the anchor text for your backlink. In the URL, simply put the page address of the website you want to build this backlink.

Post a useful comment. At least read what the discussion is about and be involved. Putting “nice comment”, “I agree”, or any generic comment is a sure way to get filtered as spam.

Blog commenting is an easy way to get build quality backlinks from the high page ranked site. This is actually most easy way. I always try to read what others bloggers are writing about. And if the post inspires me. Why not give him a comment of inspiration?.  And in return you can put your blog’s link. I don’t mind about it.

Rather browsing and spending a lot of money on getting links, I think this is the most easy and better way to get noticed by the search engines. And thus you can improve your ranks too. When you are leaving comments and links on the page you liked, which has the same type of niche of yours- then it’s easy for you to grab more visitors. If you comment regularly on a blog, then the other readers will get to know you and come to your blog too.

Encourage your readers to put comments in your blog. This will increase the interaction with you and them. A comment section is the part where you get to know about your readers and let them enlighten you with new ideas and views. So try to answer everyone in your blog. Commenting or giving answers in your own blog also shows that – you are concerned about your ideas and can tell more to the readers if the need too. It’s a way to keep people coming.
